Gothic Textura Quadrata
A typeface designed to support both learning and production in gothic calligraphy. It includes two styles: Pen, simulating broad-edge calligraphy, and Skeleton, revealing the ductus for practice and construction.
The system allows beginners to trace and learn, while helping professionals speed up compositions and refine them on paper.
How it works
How you can use the font to help you on calligraphy.
1st. Create the composition on Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop or other graphic APP.
2nd. Set the proportional font size based on which pen you'll use.
3th. Change the style to ‘Skeleton’.
4th. Add the guides. Type several underlines ‘_ ’ and set the OpenType feature ‘Discretionary ligatures’.
5th. Print it!
6th. Write over the Skeleton with you calligraphy pen.
7th. Your masterpiece ir ready!
